Jacket Block

Low Double-Breasted Jacket, which fastens at the hip. This has its roots in the 1930s and ‘40s, seen in films that Edward has long admired like Casablanca, and this too relies on the delicate balancing of proportions. The lower buttoning point and subtly extended shoulder-line focuses the eyes on the shoulder and hip rather than accentuating the waist. This creates a louche, masculine and fluid silhouette. We cut these jackets slightly looser in the body and without rear vents, true to their art deco archetypes.

Trouser Description

Classic navy in a loose and breathable wool; these trousers make for a perfect spring summer piece.

Worn with either the low double-breasted jacket or contemporary notch jacket of the same cloth, you will strike a sharp suited silhouette.

Otherwise, wear as a separate piece to pair with with summer knits and easily pair with with other jackets in your arsenal.

Our classic gentlemen’s trouser developed in 2023 is clean and close around the top but fuller through the knee and hem.
