Jacket Block
Notched lapels can look handsome too, particularly on business suits or sports jackets, which can afford to be a little more understated. We eschew slim lapels, whether peaked or notched, in favour of generous shapes that reinforce an hourglass silhouette. Adding a second button to a single-breasted jacket likewise softens its impact, but is nonetheless extremely elegant and can help to balance the slightly shorter, squarer proportions of notched lapels.

Trouser Block
With roots dating back to the 1920's these trousers began life as a comfortable garment for students of Oxford university, before finding their place as a staple in 40's swing dance halls, and again in 1970's soul movements. With heritage running through from old school university wealth to dance and music, these trousers are truly a little piece of history.
Cloth information
Incredibly luxurious, this bright navy corduroy fabric is woven entirely from 100% silk. The ribs and channels of a corduroy already create depth and texture, which is further enhanced with the shimmering lustre of silk. The ribs of cord are each around 1/8", with a tiny 1/16" channel between each. Corduroy is a dense weave great for insulating, as well as holding a firm drape. The weight of this cord is around 350g.
