Navy Linen Blend Double-Breasted Suit
Description
This double-breasted version projects a more nostalgic aesthetic, especially when paired with the Hollywood top trousers. For those that prefer a more contemporary look or prefer a wider leg without belt loops, mix and match with the Heritage or Contemporary trouser to best suit you.
Each suit is cut and styled slightly differently, allowing for a broad spectrum of styling options. All of which benefit from the rich Navy fabric: almost silk-like in appearance, exploiting both the texture and coolness of linen, with the benefit of woven in wool to assist in crease prevention. This suit is also available double breasted or with a notch lapel.

This shapely approach to tailoring also filters through to our double-breasted models, which come in two complementary styles. Perhaps our best-known cut is the timeless Signature Double-Breasted jacket, which has four buttons to fasten and two ‘show buttons’ on the chest. A personal favourite of Edward’s, double-breasted jackets like this lend stature and a touch of authority to the wearer, but can nonetheless still create a playful impression in bold colours, soft textures.

Our pièces de résistance, though, are our Hollywood Trousers, which are cut with an unstructured, soft waistband and belt loops. These are inspired by a particular kind of ‘leisure trouser’ that was popular in the 1940s and ‘50s, designed to be wonderfully comfortable and free-flowing. In flannel, corduroy or smooth gabardine, they’re as sophisticated as trousers can be, and well-suited to creative dressers or clients in search of something chic to wear on the weekends.
Cloth information
Comprising of 240g of 55% Wool and 45% linen, this beautifully rich and lustrous cloth is woven in Italy. All of the benefits of linen's cooling abilities, with the benefit of the wool greatly assisting in crease resistance.
