About the block
Notched lapels can look handsome too, particularly on business suits or sports jackets, which can afford to be a little more understated. We eschew slim lapels, whether peaked or notched, in favour of generous shapes that reinforce an hourglass silhouette. Adding a second button to a single-breasted jacket likewise softens its impact, but is nonetheless extremely elegant and can help to balance the slightly shorter, squarer proportions of notched lapels.
Cloth information
Woven in Italy, weighing 190g, this cloth is a great blend for summer jacketing. Made up of 49% wool, 42% linen and 9% silk, the combination has both the lustre of silk and the matte finish of linen. The blend delivers a cloth that is fresh and cool in the warmer months while resisting creases. This bold cloth has a 10cm glenn check with a brown and navy base and a burgundy overcheck.

Made to order garments are based on our ready to wear garment measurements, as seen on our size guide. This option allows you to order an out of stock garment to be created for you specially - without changes to measurements or style. This service is predominantly for existing customers who are familiar with how our garments fit, but require a size that is unavailable or sold out in store.
Standard make time for Made to Order garments is 6-8 weeks, though express options and associated fees are available. For express items, please contact the team.
Made to Measure garments are priced slightly higher than Made to Order and will require a consultation with one of our team. Existing customers can just email us to order a made to measure garment.
