Sky Silk Blend Suit

A clean, warm tan woven in Italy from 100% wool with a subtle twill construction that gives the cloth a pleasing body and texture without adding weight. At 260g per metre it sits in that ideal middle ground - substantial enough to hold its shape and drape well, light enough to wear with ease. The colour has a freshness to it that works across a long season, and the twill weave adds just enough visual interest to lift it beyond a plain suiting cloth.

The Drape Jacket is inspired by the slightly softer and rounder jackets Edward first cut at Kilgour in the 1960s. Subtly extended shoulders with soft pads and a rich chest contribute to a jacket feeling supremely comfortable. We like to cut Drape Jackets in smooth gabardine, plush corduroy and heavy Irish linen – cloths that will change the character and improve with age. We also add a second button to our Drape Jackets to help balance their generous chest and shoulder line.

Soft, mottled, and textured - this sky blue silk blend has a quiet luminosity and a powdery, light-catching quality that makes it feel unlike any ordinary suiting cloth. The silk gives it richness and a dry, smooth hand; the linen lends a little texture and breathability; the wool holds everything together beautifully. The Drape Jacket lets the cloth do what it does best - wider shoulders, soft construction, and a flowing chest with real roll and ease, fastened with two buttons and finished without vents or ticket pocket. Relaxed without being casual. Pair with the Classic Trouser in the same cloth for the full suit.

Our classic gentlemen’s trouser developed in 2023 is clean and close around the top but fuller through the knee and hem. This trouser is both comfortable and timelessly elegant, and with its 2” waistband with a long extension and side adjusters, it sits beautifully on an elegant shoe or rests naturally on a trainer.

A powdery sky blue with a mottled, light-catching texture that shifts subtly as you move — this is a cloth that earns a closer look. Woven in Italy from 75% wool, 15% silk, and 10% linen, each fibre pulls its weight: the silk gives richness and a dry, smooth luminosity; the linen introduces texture and breathability; the wool provides the structure and recovery that keep the cloth looking sharp. The result is light, refined, and genuinely distinctive.
